Abstract—The education system is always closely linked to the country’s economic development and social advancement; Finland’s educational progress mainly attracts the public to explore the myth behind it. This research paper analyzes the correlation between Finland’s socioeconomic development and its education system. To explore the answer to this question, various standardized surveys will be used to test education performance in different countries and provide a clear comparison. The results presented that Finland’s education evolution followed its economic progress and revealed that many problems appeared due to the frequent educational reformation, such as marketization and privatization. The theory behind this study could be used to promote global educational reformation and acquire educational principles from Finland.
