—This study investigates the power of social media in stimulating various push and pull factors that encourage students to develop intentions to study abroad. The study is a

were steered and 400
administrated questionnaires
were evaluated to test the hypotheses. Results indicated that social media triggers the promotion of the push and pull factors. The significant motivational push and pull factors in Egypt are: quality of home education, prestige, migration opportunity, international experience, career prospect, education cost, experiencing foreign culture, and institution reputation
